The Cavite State University Bee Program was hailed as Outstanding Extension Project during the 2021 Virtual Philippine Extension and Advisory Services Network (PhilEASNet) Biennial AFFNR Extension Symposium held on 14-15 October via Zoom.
During the event, Prof. Michele T. Bono, presented the overview of “The Cavite State University Bee Program: Adopting Communities for Responsible Beekeeping” to extension professionals and practitioners from government agencies, state universities and colleges, among others.
The said award is shared with the Agricultural Training Institute’s (ATI) Digital Farmers Program (DFP).
With the theme “Governance of Extension Systems for the New Future”, the symposium generally aims to update and engage the extension and advisory (EAS) professionals and practitioners in the discourse of the current governance initiatives towards strengthening EAS.
